Could you sauna or spa host the UK Show Aufguss Championships 2026?
The British Sauna Society is officially launching the search for a host venue for the UK Show Aufguss Championships 2026.
Now in its fourth year, the Championships are the national stage for Show Aufguss – the theatrical art of sauna rituals that blend heat, aroma, music, and performance. In 2025, nearly 300 public tickets were sold, with many sessions selling out, proving the growing demand for this unique experience. Winners of the UK event go on to represent the nation at the prestigious Aufguss World Championships (Aufguss WM).
What we’re looking for
We’re inviting proposals from UK spas and sauna venues with:
A sauna seating 30+ with an Aufguss-ready stove, high ceiling (2.5m+), and performance space.
Cooling and rest areas (cold plunge/showers and relaxation zones).
Accommodation options onsite or nearby for jury, staff, mentors, and press.
Catering for participants, jury, and guests.
Space for opening and closing ceremonies (30–40 people).
Room for sponsor and BSS promotional stands.
Willingness to collaborate closely with the British Sauna Society team.
