Organisation and governance.

The British Sauna Society formed as a group for enthusiasts of authentic sauna in 2014, and became an unincorporated association in 2020. In 2025, the society formed a company limited by guarantee to support the growth of sauna in the UK and to ensure it maintains the standards and passion that were integral to its beginning.
