Brighton’s coastline has always been a place of restoration - now, we’re turning up the heat. Join the British Sauna Society for the first-ever Brighton Sauna Festival, a high-energy, three-day takeover of the iconic Sussex shoreline to celebrate the birthplace of modern coastal sauna experiences in the UK.
For one weekend only, a vibrant pop-up sauna village lands on the pebbles. Featuring 20+ unique saunas from across the UK and the country’s most respected sauna masters, the beachfront will buzz with the energy of wood-fired stoves and fresh sea air.
We invite you all to come and share moments of heat, sea, and connection.

A wonderful range of partner saunas - large and small - to offer a diverse experience of heat and steam - from owners and operators from all over the UK. Set down adjacent to resident Beach Box Spa there will be lots of spaces to explore and enjoy.

Available Sessions
Entry is through a 2 hour wristband session, giving you time to move between saunas, take part in rituals, and fully settle into the experience. Each timed session is lightly themed to reflect the natural rhythm of the day and may feature practices to match. These could include breathwork, meditation, movement and sound and will take place in and outside the saunas.

Sauna Rituals Programme.
Tides & Transformation .
At the heart of the festival is a curated programme of sauna rituals - led by experienced sauna masters and practitioners.
Inspired by the rhythm of the tides and the energy of the beach, the programme brings together:

Moments of stillness, connection, and release
Playful, joyful experiences rooted in seaside culture
31 May. The Blue Moon.
The festival culminates on the final evening with the presence of the Blue Moon - a natural focal point for both reflection and celebration.
Ritual Sessions.
Rituals will take place at scheduled times throughout each day and will be led by a range of respected sauna practitioners.
Most rituals will be 15 or 30 minutes in length to allow a range of experiences and flow of movement between saunas and are included within your session ticket.
Some specialist rituals may be available to pre-book and will carry an additional charge due to limited capacity.
Full programme details will be released ahead of the festival and will be displayed on site each day.
