The UK is hosting its first ever Herbal Cup national competition this October, and this is your invitation to find out more.
This free live session is for sauna and steam practitioners who are curious to find out more. Whether you are experienced or still developing your practice, if you work with herbs, plants, heat, and ritual, this is a space to explore what the Herbal Cup is, what competing involves, and whether this pathway might be right for you.
Deborah Carr, Director of the British Sauna Society, Founder of Aufguss UK and Anada, will open the evening with an overview of the competition. Including what the Herbal Cup is, why nature is at its heart, and what this inaugural UK year means for practitioners working in sauna and steam. She'll be joined by Natalie Campo of Sakura Saunahaus, a sauna master and participant in the Sauna Showcase at Hoar Cross Hall, for an open live Q&A.
You’ll be walked through the competition format - a 15-minute herbal sauna ritual, a 15-minute steam ritual, and a themed presentation built around your ingredients, preparations, and intention. They'll talk honestly about what the judges are looking for, the training and support available, and the journey from registration through to the UK national event at Hoar Cross Hall Spa in October - and for winners, the international final in Prague in November.
This is not a commitment to compete. It is simply a chance to understand more about this new pathway, ask your questions, and decide whether this is for you.
