Applications for the 2026 UK Aufguss Championships, taking place at Galgorm Resort from 20th to 22nd April 2026, are now open. All that is required is

This is the premier event for sauna masters across the UK to showcase their skills, creativity, and mastery of the Aufguss experience.

Competition Categories

The event will host competitions in two categories:

  1. Performance/Show Event – A theatrical and creative presentation, emphasising performance, choreography, and audience engagement.

  2. Modern Classic Competition – Focusing on the traditional Aufguss techniques, highlighting skill, precision, and authenticity.

Sauna masters are welcome to participate in both categories and can enter the Show event as:

  • Individual performers

  • Teams

  • Both individual and team performances

How to Enter

To enter the competition, please use our online registration form: Enter and Pay Registration Fee

  • Registration includes entry to the competition and access to all event activities.

  • Entry fees must be paid at the time of registration to secure your spot.

Important Information for Participants

  • Eligibility: Sauna Masters who have education, qualifications or who are working as Sauna masters in the UK are welcome to compete.

  • Performance Duration: Detailed rules regarding time limits, music, and props will be provided upon registration.

  • Judging Criteria: Competitions will be judged on creativity, technique, audience engagement, and overall execution.

  • Accommodation & Travel: Galgorm Resort offers preferential rates for competition participants. Early booking is recommended.

  • Workshops & Training : Participants are encouraged to attend workshops,and training vents that will be available. This is a great way to elevate performance, meet other sauna professionals, and share best practices.

  • Health & Safety: All performances must comply with safety guidelines provided by the British Sauna Society.
