Not content with importing sauna hats from the continent, Scottish Seaside Saunas teamed up with a talented felt maker in Fife to create a very limited-edition range of sauna hats. Made from the wool of sheep that graze near the St Andrews Seaside Sauna, these unique hats were available through their website and proved so popular that they are are now completely SOLD OUT.

Since then, Scottish Seaside Saunas have been collaborating with Fife designer Jane Keith to develop a new range of Fife-made products, crafted from Scottish materials to their own designs. As a result, their original hand-felted sauna hats will no longer be available to purchase.

Now, Scottish Seaside Saunas are giving you the opportunity to learn how to make your very own one-of-a-kind felted sauna hat using wool from the very same St Andrews sheep.

You'll have a wide selection of coloured wool and other materials to choose from, allowing you to get creative and make a hat that's uniquely yours.

Following the workshop, certified Sauna Masters Judith and Elise will lead a short session on how to make your own traditional birch sauna whisk.

You'll then have the chance to put both your newly created hat and whisk to the test in the new Harbourmaster Sauna at Elie Seaside Sauna.
