Perfect Sweat Private Screening & Sauna Aid Fundraising Event

Private screening of the highly anticipated series Perfect Sweat with filmmaker Mikkel Aaland and special guests – raising funds for Sauna Aid.

The seven episodes of Perfect Sweat take viewers on a voyage across the globe, visiting global sweat bathing traditions: including sauna in Finland, badstue in Norway, hamam in Turkey, onsen in Japan and also introducing latest innovations like Aufguss and bathing rituals at Burning Man.

This screening is an exclusive opportunity for the UK audiences to see select episodes of the series with the filmmaker Mikkel Aaland and special guests in attendance giving a talk about their journey and their latest humanitarian intiative, Sauna Aid, developed under the auspices of the International Sauna Association (ISA).

The proceeds from the event will be donated to Sauna Aid – a humanitarian intitiative to provide movable sauna facilities and supportive services to people facing natural and man-made disasters.

About Perfect Sweat

In this documentary series, sweat bathing guru Mikkel Aaland, author of the 70s classic, Sweat, teams up with local guides and hosts and retraces his steps in search of the Perfect Sweat. What he finds after nearly 45 years is an explosive rebirth of the ancient bathing traditions, traditions which include community rituals that are meant to revive the human spirit and change the world.
