The Wild Riverside Sauna Pop Up, Barking, London


Enjoy all the feel good benefits of deep heat, cold contrast and delicious steam in this pop-up riverside spa session. Discover something new about sauna culture with experts from the British Sauna Society on hand to give you advice and info.

You'll be guided by trained sauna experts from the British Sauna Society on how to get the full benefits of deep heat, cold contrast and steam. Wild Riverside Sauna is open for bookings throughout the weekend from 7.30am, with special guided sessions with trained Sauna Masters offering leaf whisking, aufguss, body treatments and more on Saturday 5th August at 3.30pm, 5.30pm & 7.30pm, and Sunday 6th August at 1.30pm, 3.30pm & 5.30pm.

Please arrive 15 minutes before you session starts. Ages 18+ only.

You must only attend the sauna if you are in good health. If you have any health conditions that may affect your ability to sauna safely, please consult a medical practitioner before booking.

Capacity is limited due to the available workspace. Limited walk up spaces will be available on a first come first served basis.

Accessibility - no step free access. The saunas are not wheelchair accessible.

About Sauna Master UK

Katie Bracher aka @saunamasteruk is on a mission to share the beauty of sweat bathing with the people of the UK and has been guiding, building and talking sauna since 2014. Creating sauna experiences and holding trainings for sauna and bathing rituals.

She is at the forefront the emerging of UK sauna scene - founder and creator of Beach Box Brighton - a pop-up seaside spa concept that sparked a wave of pop-up sauna businesses around the UK coastline. Her most recent ‘Wild Spa” concept brings a ‘sauna garden’ style of public spa to the Sussex countryside.

“My interest lies in the embodied experience, communal practice, rituals, nature and self connection that can be formed through Sauna practice. Through guiding saunas sessions, hosting webinars, collaborating with grassroots sauna projects, research and visiting traditional bath cultures.

Training and connected to many international bath masters and the wider sauna community I support bringing the best of sauna, bathing and spa culture to the UK.
